walking on water

Being from Texas, there is not a lot of opportunity to walk on a body of frozen water. So the water close to where I walk/run is frozen and covered with snow. I had to step on it.

Snow snow snow

It's been snowing a lot this winter. In fact, I've heard several say this is an unusual amount of snow- reminds many of how it use to snow when they were children. As pretty as it is, there is a downside to it. The muck, the slippery icey sidewalks, and snow/ice falling from rooftops. You best mind the barricades when they do put them up on the sidwalks. if you are hit with the snow/ice it can cause injury and has caused death (at least that's what I've been told). Don't mean to come across as negative - just stating how life is in the snow.
